This image was taken in Berlin, it was an apartment next to the one we stayed in. A nice touch to an otherwise boring building, a trump loi, I'm not sure how to spell that but I hope you know what I mean...( my spell checker can't spell it either)

Graffiti was everywhere we went in Europe but mostly tagging, with the exception of a few amazing pieces, like this one in Paris!

This book store in Paris could only fit one person at a time!

Radium in drinking water???

I've always wanted to go to the Madam Curie Museum. I was surprised at all the ways radium was put to use... no one new the dangers at the time. Who wouldn't want a youthful radiant glow!!!

Paris had so many museums we barely scratched the surface, Ken really wanted to go to this Maritime Museum mainly to see an under water deep sea diver prototype.

I this was used as a mast for a ship, it's carved out of solid wood!
Are friend Jim looking very small.

This is strait out of Jules Vern!

It probably sank on the first trial.

I liked this piece of graphic design - a perfect S curve!

Ah...Paris, the rain did not dampen our spirits!

While we were in Paris we went to many comic stores. I liked this robot design that was in one of the more mainstream comic stores, in Paris. I really liked all the french comics stores, they had such a wide range of diverse graphic novels, similar to the kind I would see at TCAF Toronto Comic Art Festival. Very unique styles that I could relate to...if only I could read them! I'm not sure if many graphic novels get translated for the market over here but I saw a lot of quite a few Canadian and American comics and graphic novels over there.
We went to a technology museum, this is a computer - not so portable!

I love this 60s style of colour TV

Magnificent men in their flying machines!

This is a Aurora Borealis machine...don't ask me how it works????
